Springfield, MO - It was a big night for the Creighton Bluejays and an even bigger night for Doug McDermott. Creighton's 22-point win over Missouri State helped the Jays move to 5-0 in conference play.
McDermott's performance was unlike anything Springfield had ever seen. He lit up the Bears for 39 points. He connected for thirteen shots in a row at one point. And he outscored Missouri State in the second half by himself, 28-25. It was an oustanding individual performance by the front runner for National Player Of The Year.
