Lincoln, NE - Nebraska lost it's third consecutive bowl game. This time it was a 45-31 defeat at the hands of the Georgia Bulldogs. The Huskers still managed to win 10 games this season, however it never reached it's full potential.

That sentiment is shared by Running Back Rex Burkhead. The Senior racked up 140 yards and two touchdowns in his final game with the Huskers.

While the Nebraska backfield is in good hands with Ameer Abdullah taking over full time next season, Big Red will never be the same without Burkhead, the fifth all-time leading rusher in program history.
