Boise State Upsets Bluejays 83-70
OMAHA, Neb. -- Derrick Marks had 28 of his career-high 35 points in the second half as Boise State stunned host Creighton, 83-70, on Wednesday night before 16,364 fans at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
The game was part of the Mountain West/Missouri Valley Conference Challenge Series. The event, now in its fourth year, is being led 2-1 by the MWC this season with six games remaining.
The win over the No. 11 Bluejays was the highest-ranked team that BSU had ever beaten, and just the program's second road win over a ranked team in program history. Marks' 35 points were 10th-most in school history and 11 more than his previous best.
