Lincoln, NE - The Huskers are known for having great fullbacks. Joel Mackovica, Corey Schlesinger, and Tom Davis are just a few of the Husker greats. And this season there's a crop of new names hoping to add their name to that list.
One of those names is freshman Andy Janovich. The walk-on was huge contributor to Gretna's football team last season. He led the Dragons to the the state semifinals last year. This year he's battling for playing time at fullback for the Huskers.
Currently Mike Marrow is the favorite to win the starting spot, but Bo Pelini thinks that Janovich has shown some real promise.
