Omaha, NE - All year long the Bluejays let everyone know how close they are as a team.  They praised the offseason tournament in the Bahamas for bringing them closer.  They talked about how much they enjoy playing with one and other.  They often described themselves as family. 

Many teams use those same terms to describe themselves.  However, in this case there is actually a family bond on this team.  Because, Creighton's coach is actually the father of thier star player.

Doug and Greg McDermott have both accomplished big things on their own.  In fact, Greg already won an MVC Tournament with Northern Iowa, but he does believe it was a little different to win one with his son.
