Omaha, NE - Creighton never trailed en route to winning its eighth straight game with a 75-49 victory over Indiana State on Saturday.
Creighton improved to 18-2 for just the third time in the program's storied history, and will reach the midway point of the Missouri Valley Conference slate with an 8-1 mark. Indiana State, last year's MVC Tournament champion, fell to 11-9.
Doug McDermott led a balanced attack with 12 points, while the sophomore forward also added a game-high 11 rebounds for his MVC-leading seventh double-double of the year. Young and Ethan Wragge each had eight points, while five other men had either six or seven points.
