Omaha, NE - The Creighton Bluejays have been on a roll this season. They are 16-2 on the year and 6-1 in conference. However, that lone conference loss is the continuation of a recent trend that Creighton would like to see reversed.
Missouri State handed the Jays their only conference loss in their conference opener. That Missouri State victory marked the sixth straight time the Bears beat the Jays. It's tied for the longest such streak in Missouri State history.
Tomorrow night, Creighton will get their second shot at the Bears this season. They travel to Springfield, Missouri to battle a wounded team. Missouri State has lost two straight conference games to fall to 4-3 in conference play. The Bears desperately need this win to stay within shouting distance of the conference leaders. The Jays would like to get this win to keep up their first-place standing, and they would like to continue to prove that they can win on the road.
