Nebraska football wide receiver Brandon Reilly was issued a citation for drunk driving early Friday morning.

The Lincoln Police Department says just after 2 a.m. on Friday, an officer saw Reilly going 65 mph in a 60 mph zone on Interstate 80, and then make a turn onto Superior without signaling.

That’s when officials say the officer pulled the vehicle over and noticed a strong smell of alcohol.

“The driver performed standardized field sobriety testing at the scene and was then transported to The Bridge for formal testing,” Lincoln Police said.

His blood alcohol content was recorded at 0.150, according to police.

Reilly was cited for DUI first offense, negligent driving and failure to signal.
