Gretna and Skutt met in the Class B state semifinals with a ticket to the State Championship game next week on the line.
The Skyhawks rallied from a 2nd quarter deficit to defeat the Dragons, 30-20. Gretna was up 13-6 just before half, but a long punt return from the Skyhawks led to a touchdown.
Gretna threatened the Skyhawks late, coming within seven late in the fourth quarter. An interception with just under six minutes left in the game sealed it for Skutt, which will face Elkhorn South in the State Championship Nov. 22.
