High School Football W2W4: Week 0

High School football is back in the area and you couldn't ask for a better start. Week 0 action kicks off with a possible preview of the state championship game Thursday night as Omaha North travels to defending champion, Millard North. These two teams have accounted for the last four state titles in Class A and there is a reason for that. Great coaching.

Millard North's Fred Petito and Omaha North's Larry Martin have established winning traditions during their time as head coaches and continue to reload their squads regardless of graduation. There is no doubt that Buell Stadium in Millard will be rocking Thursday night. Here are some other great matchups in week 0:

Class A

Omaha Westside @ Omaha Creighton Prep

Papillion LV South @ Bellevue West

Kearney @ Grand Island

Omaha Burke @ Omaha Central

Class B

Elkhorn South @ York

Elkhorn @ Plattsmouth

Norris @ Gretna

Class C1

Norfolk Catholic @ Wahoo Neumann
