Adam Krueger and Ben Stevens join KMTV as the newest members of the Omaha Sports Insider team. Krueger is the new sports director and Stevens is a sports reporter and anchor.

"Our audiences are in for a treat with this dynamic duo,” said Mark Halverson, vice president and general manager of KMTV and Scripps Omaha Radio.

“Their passion for sports is energizing and we love their enthusiasm and record of good work." “Adam’s knowledge of all things Huskers will help us continue to bring our viewers the best coverage of all Nebraska sports on air and online,” said Joe Spadea, news director for KMTV.

“Ben’s versatility covering college and high school sports while at Syracuse will be on display in all of our Nebraska, Creighton and high school sports coverage.” Omaha Sports Insider (OSI) is Omaha’s source for all things sports, on air, online and on the go.

The biggest sports fan can get all the sports coverage they crave weekdays from 2-6 p.m. on AM 590 Omaha's ESPN Radio, on Action 3 News, on Facebook, and at OmahaSportsInsider.com.

In addition to daily sports coverage on Action 3 News, Krueger and Stevens will anchor KMTV’s weekly high school football show, “OSI Game Night,” Friday nights during Action 3 News at 10.

The duo also teams up for “OSI Sunday,” KMTV’s sports wrap show at 10:30 p.m.

Krueger comes to KMTV and the Omaha Sports Insider Team from KOLN in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was the weekend anchor/reporter for more than four years. Krueger also worked in the state at KPTM in Omaha and KLKN in Lincoln.

He started his career at 6 News in Lawrence, Kansas. Krueger graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Before joining the OSI team, Stevens worked at Time Warner Cable in Syracuse, New York, and was an anchor and reporter at Citrus TV while at Syracuse University.

Stevens interned at KABC and KTTV in Los Angeles. Stevens is a graduate of Syracuse University.
