Flynn Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

Nebraska's senior midfielder/forward Caroline Flynn earned her third consecutive CoSIDA Academic All-District honor. She holds a 3.99 grade-point average and has started 17 games this season. Flynn as a career total of 11 goals and seven assists in 75 appearances. During this season she has tallied one goal and one assist while playing a crucial role in Nebraska qualifying for the Big Ten Tournament.

Flynn is a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, three-time Academic All-Big Ten Team member, nine-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll member and three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She also served as the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President in 2015-2016 and won the Nebraska HERO Leadership Award in 2016.

The Huskers take on Northwestern Sunday, October 30th at 3 p.m. for the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals.
