The Nebraska volleyball team has finished their final preparations before their 11 a.m. matchup with Penn State Friday. The Huskers won their previous two matches against the Nittany Lions earlier this season.

“We talked about the things that potentially we could see and that Penn State might do," Nebraska Head Coach John Cook said. "Whoever you play, you have to be ready to make adjustments as the match goes on.”

The Huskers host Penn State at the Devaney Center. Cook said the home-court advantage is always nice to have this deep in the tournament.

“Just super excited that the regional is here in Devaney," Cook said. "Our people do an amazing job of hosting this event. . It feels like such a first class event. It makes me appreciate coaching at Nebraska, and putting on an event like this is going to be a first-class event that all three teams that are here deserve to be involved in."

The No. 16 seeded Nittany Lions finished the season with a 24-9 overall record and a 14-6 record in Big Ten play. Penn State is ranked No. 4 nationally in hitting percentage at .294.

The doors to the Devaney Center open at 10 a.m., an hour before first serve.
