The Nebraska men's basketball team held off Dayton Thursday night, 80-78, at the Wooden Legacy Tournament in Fullerton, California.

The Huskers had four players in double figures led by Glynn Watson, Jr. with 20 points. Ed Morrow, Jr. added 19 points and 10 rebounds. NU shot 57 percent from the floor.

"I was proud of my guys," said head coach Tim Miles. "I thought we controlled the game most of the night.  We had a tough last four minutes obviously.  Dayton’s frontline pressure was really good and we got a guy who hit two huge free throws for us  (Glynn Watson Jr.), and a guy who was  a monster inside (Ed Morrow Jr.).  You’ll see us develop into a tough-minded team who knows how to win.  That’s really important in our league and it’s really important for our guys.  I’m just really proud of them tonight."

The Big Red improves to 4-0 on the season and will face either UCLA Saturday at 11 PM on ESPN2.
