The No. 8 Huskers are getting a bit of a scare to start the first half of play against Purdue. Nebraska started off hot as Kieron Williams intercepted a halfback pass in Purdue territory.
The interception set Nebraska up for a 22-yard touchdown run by Tommy Armstrong Jr. After that, it was all Boilermakers. Purdue quarterback David Blough has thrown for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the first half.
The Huskers have given up 241 yards of total offense so far. Armstrong has completed nine of his 17 passes for 94 yards and an interception. Armstrong also has 56 rushing yards.
