The championship series of the 2016 College World Series between the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and the Arizona Wildcats started off Monday for a chance at this trophy.

The game kicked off with a B2 Stealth Bomber flyover after the national anthem.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning after a lead-off double from Cody Ramer, and an RBI single from Ryan Aguilar plated the first run of the game.

Zach Remillard had a web gem catch in foul territory to end the top of the fifth inning.

Arizona took a 3-0 lead in the top of the seventh inning after another RBI single from Ryan Aguilar and a sac fly.

Zach Gibbons had an outstanding catch at the wall in the bottom of the eighth inning for Arizona.

JC Cloney allowed no runs on just four hits in a complete game performance.

Arizona picked up the win 3-0 and took the lead in the three game championship series. Game two starts tomorrow at 6 p.m. at TD Ameritrade Park.
