Omahan Jeannie North has two fur-babies, her dogs Ripley and Rue.

The dog lover also has another love: fashion. This summer, north helped organize the first ever Omaha fashion week which featured dogs modeling canine clothes.

After a small pause, north is combining four legged friends and fashion again.

With a dog bandana company called Ripley and Rue.

"They're pretty simple, and they don't take up a lot of room even for smaller dogs,” she said.

“We have smaller dog sizes too. But yeah, I think they are pretty versatile and stay on them pretty well.”

The fashion pieces run between 16 and 22 dollars.

North gives a portion of the sales to an organization that helps stray dogs.

Ripley and Rue are doing their part in the company too.

The two dogs help her model the bandanas, keep her company while she sews.

The dogs test the out the bandanas for quality control of course.

“I think they're pretty concerned with playing right now,” North said.

“But I think they would say they know they're the hottest dogs on the block so if you want to look cool you should buy their bandanas.”

North tells KMTV the business will likely just stay a side hustle.

But it's something this dog lover, loves in Omaha.

North sells the bandanas online at ripleyandrue.com and at WAG Downtown.
