100 People to Rappel Over the Edge of the Woodmen Tower
The Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council will send dozens of Scouting supporters Over the Edge, rappelling down the 478 foot Woodmen Tower on September 24 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. That’s 30 stories for Scouting!
Registration is now open and can be done online at www.mac-bsa.org/OverTheEdge.
Anyone can register but participants must be 14-years-old or older and weigh between 110 and 300 pounds. Registration costs $1,000 per person and funds raised go to support inner-city youth Scouting programs.
Spectators are welcome. Come cheer on your friends and family at the base of the tower. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to view from the Douglas County Courthouse and make it an afternoon affair.
