Woman Arrested in Connection with Death of 4-Month-Old
Nanny is in custody for child abuse
Omaha, NE - Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Sarah Cullen tonight in Omaha in connection with the death of four-month-old Cash Bell.
The Sheriff's Office says Cullen took the baby to the Women's Methodist Hospital's emergency room on February, 28th. He was in critical condition, suffering from significant head trauma. A medical helicopter took Bell to Children's Hospital. He died from his injuries on March 5th.
Investigators say Cash Bell's injuries happened under the care of his nanny, Sarah Cullen.
An investigation resulted in an arrest warrant for Cullen, charging her with child abuse resulting in death. She is now in custody
On online obituary on legacy.com says, "Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called back to heaven. Cash Christopher came into this world and was taken 141 days later." The picture accompanying this acticles was included in Bell's obituary.
