Creighton Coach Shows He's Still Got It
Student manager posts video of McDermott dunking
St. Louis, MO - Creighton Men's Basketball Head Coach Greg McDermott took a moment at practice to show his own moves on the court.
Gabriel Connealy, the team's student manager, posted the video today. In his posting, Connealy noted McDermott has still got it.
You can hear the cheers after he makes it.
McDermott is with the rest of his team in St. Louis preparing for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. Their first game is Friday at 12:08pm. KMTV Action 3 News Sports Director Chase Williams is in St. Louis covering the BlueJays.
In case you were curious about McDermott's career as a player. His bio says he was a 6-foot-8 center who was named second-team-all-conference at UNI. He played one season professionally in Switzerland before becoming a coach.
