Waterloo, IA - There will be a concert next month to honor Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, the cousins who were found murdered in December.

The April 20th "Concert for the Angels" at McElroy Auditorium in Waterloo will raise funds for a memorial for the girls. It will also raise money for a park project at Meyers Lake in Evansdale. The park will be called Angels Park and there will be a nearby trail called Trail of Angels.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports the concert will feature several music acts such as Saving Abel and singers from a local church that one of the girls' families attends.

The girls were last seen riding their bikes by Meyers Lake in July. Hunters found their bodies in December. Investigators have said the girls were murdered. The investigation continues.
