Unclaimed Property Could Mean Big Bucks for Nebraskans
Lincoln, NE- Thousand of Nebraskans are in for a big surprise as the Nebraska State Treasurer releases the 2013 Unclaimed Property Report.
The report will be published in Nebraska newspapers in March and April. The treasurer's office is holding more than $125 million for more than 350,000 Nebraskans and former Nebraskans.
State Treasurer Don Stenberg said his office is making a strong effort to locate the owners of especially large properties that have been on the unclaimed property rolls for some time.
