Culinary Event Canceled This Weekend
Event Called Off At Metro Community College
OMAHA, Neb. -- Several events are canceled this weekend because of the snow, including Omaha's Metro Community College Institute of Culinary Arts Invitational.

More than 100 students from 16 area high schools were expected to participate in the competition on Friday and Saturday. The invitational included a contest in which teams would prepare a three-course meal in an hour.
The invitational is intended to showcase the culinary and academic talents of high school students within a 100-mile radius of Omaha.
There's no word yet if this event will be rescheduled.
