Street engineer Scott McIntyre said all of his crews were working in 12-hour on, 12-hour off shifts, focusing on main roads and collectors.
Once snow tapered off, they used the overnight hours to plow some residential streets.
McIntyre said the city should have a timeframe for when they will clear all residential streets by Friday afternoon.
Some people still tried to make it out on the roads.
About 50 people showed up to the CenturyLink Center for a boat show. They ended the event early at 7:30 p.m.
