Deadly Weekend Crash Under Investigation
32-year-old Omaha woman killed
Omaha, NE- Authorities have identified a woman killed in a one vehicle crash in northeast Omaha over the weekend.
Omaha police say Jessica Stanley, 32, was driving west on Hamilton street around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when she lost control of her vehicle.
The car went into a slide and crossed the eastbound lane before leaving the roadway and crashing into two trees.
Jessica Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger Harry Stanley, 33, suffered a fractured neck, an arm fracture and bleeding in the brain.
The accident is still under investigation. Officials say speed and alcohol could be a factor in the collision.
