Omaha, NE - Berkshire Hathaway shareholders will get a chance to swap out their suits and ties for some active wear at the company’s annual meeting for a new 5k run.

Berkshire’s Brooks Running subsidiary announced the fun run to be held in Omaha on May 5, a day after the annual meeting that normally attracts more than 30,000 people to Omaha.

Berkshire CEO Warren Buffett will fire the starting gun and crown the winners.  The 82-year-old has challenged the managers of Berkshire’s businesses to participate.

Brooks will again sell a commemorative Berkshire Hathaway running shoe at the annual meeting that features a cartoon drawing of Buffett on the insoles.
