Valley, NE - The Douglas County Sheriff's office has identified the woman who died in a  two-car crash.

It happened Thursday at 6:45 a.m. near 276th and Ida near Valley.  Investigators say 48-year-old Valley resident Tammy A. Harris died on the scene. 
 

Police say Harris was driving eastbound on Ida Street when her Chevy Silverado
went out of control, veered into oncoming traffic and struck a 2001 Ford Van driven by Noah Brase of Yutan.

Brase was taken to Creighton University Medical Center where he's being treated for serious head trauma.
