Anonymous Threat to the Omaha Community
From Omaha Public Schools: "The Omaha Public Schools has been made aware of an anonymous posting made on social media regarding a threat to the Omaha Community. The Omaha Police Department has determined that the threat was " not a valid threat". Please see the posting below from the Omaha Police Department's Facebook page."

"For those of you that saw a post last night regarding a threat to the Omaha area posted on-line, we appreciate your vigilance in reporting the post. We were able to locate the person who posted it and have determined it was not a valid threat. We are continuing to investigate the matter.
Be assured that the safety of our community is our top priority. We work very closely with our local school districts and share information regarding potential safety issues with each other to make our schools as safe as they can be.
We are dedicated to the safety of our city and cherish the many partnerships we have forged with our community. Together we will continue to make Omaha a city to be proud of."
