YouTube Post Leads To Arrest

A mother encourages her son to fight, now she's arrested.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA-  Two boys, one 12 the other 13, were shown in a online video fighting in front of an elementary school.  The mother of one of the boys egging it on.

According to a police report, Alisha Hazen wanted to watch her son fight another boy.  She even bet that her son would win.

Witnesses told police, Hazen never tried to stop the fight and was telling her son how to win the fight by giving him tips.  "Pull his hair and beat the dog... out of him."  Hazen cheers on her son and when the other boy started to get the better of the fight, Hazen stepped in.  But she didn't just stop the two boys... according to the police report, Hazen intervened when the 12 year old was punching her son in the face.  She then punched the 12 year old boy in the face.

Her actions led to the Pottawattamie County Attorneys office to file an arrest warrant.  Hazen was arrested on charges of serious assault, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child endangerment, a felony.
