OMAHA NE-   It only happens once a century and it's the last time a date will be in sequence until January 1st, 2101.  On Wednesday, many folks took advantage of 12-12-12.  New parents across the metro plan births for today while others are lucky enough to give birth naturally.  John and Kristi Kava were surprised to welcome a new baby girl at 9:15 am.

"We're excited that I made it this long and that we were able to have 12-12-12 because we thought it would be a cool birthday."  Kristi Kava expresses her excitement for the birth of her new baby at  Alegent Creighton Health Lakeside hosptial.  The Kava's are not the only parents celebrating.  Robin Heaton underwent C-section and baby Zoey was welcomed at 12:12pm at the Nebraska Medical Center.

Across the river five sixth graders at Kirn Junior High students celebrate their golden birthday.  12 years old on 12-12-12.  More celebration at the Douglas county courthouse.  The city clerks office told Action 3 News, 40 couples joined in matrimony across the county.
