Nebraska Mother in Child Prostitution Faces 500 years
KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - A 35-year-old Nebraska woman convicted for prostituting her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters will be sentenced separately in three counties.
The Kearney Hub reports that the woman has pleaded no contest to 13 felony charges in Buffalo, Furnas and Franklin counties. Those counts include first-degree child sexual assault and child pornography.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the woman allowed multiple men to have sex with her daughters. At least five men have been arrested.
The Associated Press is not using the mother's name to protect the privacy of the girls.
The woman faces up to 90 years when she's sentenced in December in Buffalo County. She faces up to 50 years when she's sentenced in January in Furnas County and up to 360 years in Franklin County in February.
