Creighton Prep Grad Makes Movie Debut
Omaha - Steve Lenz graduated from Creighton Prep High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He's making his big screen debut in the 2012 remake of the movie "Red Dawn."
The 1984 original featured Patrick Swayze, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey and others. The new version stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games), Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights) and Josh Peck (Drake & Josh).
Lenz plays the supporting role of "Pete," an antagonist threatening the safety of "The Wolverines."

"Red Dawn" is currently showing in theaters around the metro.
