Omaha, NE--  The Omaha insurance company, Mutual of Omaha, deliver boxes and boxes of food to 238 local families.  

Hundreds of Mutual employees volunteer to stuff canned items, boxed items, bagged items and any other food items that might be needed this Thanksgiving, into delivery boxes. Then a second set of volunteers go door to door to donate the food.  

Some answer with a smile, others don't answer at all...but call later and thank Mutual employees for the food left on their doorsteps.  

One thing is clear from each donation, without the food giveaway, many Omaha families would not have a Holiday meal of their own.  

This is the 64th year Mutual has held their Thanksgiving food basket project.  Food donations come from employees and the insurance company knows without employee support, the program would not be a success.
