Omaha North Takes on Millard North for Championship Title
Both high school football teams played their hearts out
Lincoln, NE - Omaha north football players got off their bus focused, ready for their first state championship game and to take on Millard North - the team that beat them last month.
Excited fans poured into Memorial Stadium with posters. The band was in full force, all the makings of championship game.
"This is a big thing, it's life-changing though. Everybody thinks we wouldn't make it, we have made history even if we don't win we're making it so go vikings!," a fan said.
On the other side of the stadium - a confident Millard North crowd. "It's a black out, it's a blackout, that's all there is to say," a fan said. "it's awesome, it's great to be here."
Fans were on edge all night as both teams put up a tough fight - so tough the first score didn't come until the 3rd quarter, Omaha North with the touchdown.
"I am so excited I don't even know how to feel I'm really glad to be a part of this," a fan said.
