Christmas Comes Early For Omaha Family
Omaha, NE - Rachael Travalick won't make another house payment for a year! Rachael won the Free and Clear For a Year contest Saturday, sponsored by KMTV Action 3 News and Great Western Bank.
"Fantastic," she said with a big smile. "It's going to help us in a lot of ways. It's going to be great."
Rachael and fourteen others qualified for the drawing by entering the contest on the KMTV Action 3 News Facebook page. All the qualifiers won $100 and a chance to win free mortgage or rent for a year.
Great Western Bank Omaha President Gary Grote drew the winning name and presented Rachael with a giant check. "It's really fun to make a difference," said Grote. "Christmas is going to be very good. Every little bit helps and this is a whole lot more than a little bit. I'm happy to see good things happen to good people."
