Free YMCA Admission on Thanksgiving Day
Omaha, NE - YMCAs around Omaha will open their doors to the public for free on Thanksgiving Day.
All ten branches will be open for at least eight hours on Thanksgiving, and many will offer special events, such as the "Turkey Trot" 5K run at the Southwest YMCA, or the "Before the Gobble Workout" classes at the Downtown YMCA.
In addition, each YMCA will offer free admission to its facilities, which include gyms, swimming pools, cardio equipment, and more.
For those don't want to miss Thanksgiving parades and football games on TV,
metro Ys have cardio and equipment rooms outfitted with TVs so you can work out and watch your favorite holiday programming.
Hours and programs vary at each location, so make sure you call ahead of time or check their website.
