Red Cross to Host Holiday Mail for Heroes

Omaha, NE - This Veteran's Day, you can send words of gratitude and cheer to members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
It's the Red Cross' annual Holiday Mail for Heroes event is this Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Westroads and Oakview Malls.
Volunteers will be on hand to provide people with the opportunity to write heartfelt messages of thanks and support.
Cards can also be mailed to the following address by December 7, 2012:

The Red Cross has received and distributed more than 4.7 million cards for members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and their families since the program began in 2006.
