Superstorm Voting: Residents vote despite storm losses
STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - A week after Sandy's march up the East Coast, thousands of displaced residents have boarded shuttle buses and searched online for alternative polling places to cast their ballots.
Turnout is strong in some devastated areas of New Jersey and New York.
Lines have been long in Point Pleasant, N.J., where residents from several coastal communities are casting their ballots because of storm damage. Many still don't have power after eight days.
