Douglas County Voters Deal with Problems at the Polls
Douglas County, NE- Both democrats and republicans had to deal with problems at Douglas County polling places.
Democrats claim some voters received ballots that were already filled in for Republicans Mitt Romney and Lee Terry. Election Commissioner Dave Phipps told Action 3 News he's aware of one incident where a ballot got stuck in a privacy sleeve, then got handed to another voter.
Republicans says someone is trying to sabotage the GOP vote in Douglas County. The State Republican Chairman says somebody is making calls, telling republicans they don't need to vote today because they already voted absentee. The caller gave a phony phone number claiming to be from the Nebraska GOP.
