Update: Omaha Police Make Arrest in South Omaha Robberies
Man Accused of String of Robberies
Omaha, NE- Omaha Police arrest a man they believe is responsible for a string of robberies in south Omaha. Darshawn Robinson, 20, is charged with use of a weapon to commit a felony for three of the robberies.
Police say they arrested Robinson on Halloween, after he broke into a fourth home near 38th and G Streets.
Police then connected him to the other robberies near 36th & Q streets.
Last week, Action 3 News talked to neighbors in the targeted area. They say the suspect waited until victims entered their home or garage, then confronted them with a gun and demanded money, their purse or wallet.
