OMAHA, NE  -  What is the Missouri River Recovery Program?  If you don't know, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has developed an interactive online tool to help you learn more.  The Missouri River Basin Explorer site comes more than a year after massive flooding in Nebraska and Iowa.  It's designed to help the public learn more about the river's natural environment and the efforts of the recovery program.  It also shows how the Missouri River system works and what challenges it presents to the corps, which has a district office in Omaha.
