Omaha, NE - Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing is catching up.  The first-time candidate for Congress is challenging seven-term Congressman Lee Terry in Nebraska's Second District Congressional race.

A poll published Monday by the Omaha World-Herald shows Terry still leads in the race, but his lead has slipped in the last month.

Last week, Wiese Research Associates surveyed 400 registered voters in the second congressional district.  The results show Terry with a six percent lead; 48% to 42%.  Eleven percent of the voters remain undecided.  A month ago, Terry led 51% to 38%.
