Council Bluffs Police Investigating Home Invasion/Shooting
2 People Hurt
Council Bluffs, IA - Police are investigating a home invasion and shooting. It happened around 7:30 a.m. at 36th & 5th Avenue. Two people were hurt. We know paramedics took one man, in his 40s, to the hospital in critical condition. Someone shot him several times in the chest and hit him over the head with a crow bar. No word yet on the condition of the other person. Police are looking into whether the victims knew the suspects. We will continue to update this story as it develops.
