Escaped Inmate Back Behind Bars
The Douglas County female walked away from a work release
Omaha, NE - A Douglas County inmate is back behind bars after a brief escape.
Katherine Sanchez was serving time on a forgery charge, and had almost completed her sentence. Police say she escaped while on work release, but is now back behind bars. She's now charged with escape and will likely serve more time.
