UPDATE: Red Cross to Help Family Displaced in Midtown Area Fire
Crews battled a fire Friday night on S. 30th and Mason
Omaha, NE - A fire in a midtown area apartment started in a bedroom, according to Omaha firefighters. They were called to the three story building just before 9:10p.m. Friday night, at S. 30th and Mason.
One adult and three children were inside. They all made it out safely, and firefighters got the flames under control quickly.
The fire didn't spread to other units, but the four people inside are displaced. The Red Cross was on the way to help the family for the night, as investigators went to work to determine the cause.
