Sister Remembers Brother And Others Who Died On 9/11
Omaha, NE - She lost her brother Leonard on September 11, 2001. She's met and consoled families of the nine other people with Nebraska ties who died at the World Trade Center.
Now, for the ninth year in a row, Lynn Castrianno has organized a Remembrance at Memorial Park. She and volunteers will place almost 3,000 flags in the ground to mark the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attack.
Each flag is personalized with the name of a victim, his or her age, where they died along with some personal information. Those with a Nebraska connection are placed in a special Nebraska Connections circle.
The flags will be on display at memorial Park from September 7th to 16th.
