Elderly Pedestrian in Critical Condition
Omaha - An elderly woman is in critical condition after being hit by a driver on Tuesday night.
Omaha police say the accident happened just before 8:00pm. They say a 2012 Ford Focus driven by Lynn Givens was headed eastbound on Kingswood Drive. She made a left turn onto northbound 132nd. Police say she struck 83-year-old Donna Albrecht, who was crossing Kingswood Drive on foot.
Albrecht was transported to UNMC where police say she's in critical condition with a broken pelvis and brain hemorrhage. Police say Givens was cited for Failure to Yield.
