Marcus Jordan Ordered To Pay $250 Fine
Michael Jordan's Son Shows Up To Court In Omaha
Omaha, NE - The son of former NBA star Michael Jordan will pay a $250 fine for a disturbance outside a downtown Omaha hotel last month. Marcus Jordan pleaded no contest at the Douglas County Courthouse earlier this morning. Jordan was arrested early on July 1st at the Embassy Suites. When police arrived, hotel security was trying to get him under control as he argued with two women in the hotel driveway. The police report said Jordan was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative." He had been in town for the U.S. Olympic swim trials. Jordan was not required to be in court today. His Omaha attorney, Steve Lefler, told KMTV Action 3 News that Marcus showed up because he didn't want people to think he was getting special treatment.
