Omaha, NE - Police are investigating threatening language and racial slurs in a northwest Omaha neighborhood. Meanwhile, the Maple Village Neighborhood Association board released a statement saying, "Bullying and vandalism have no place in our community."

According to a news release from the group, there's been "politically and racially-based" criminal activity in the neighborhood. The board "condemned" the actions and warned neighbors to be on the lookout for similar crimes, which include graffiti, vandalism and theft of political yard signs.

Anyone with information is urged to call Omaha police at 444-5835.
