Police Investigating 7 Separate Shootings, 2 Deadly

Omaha, NE-Omaha police are investigating seven shootings this morning.  The very latest happened at 12:10 a.m. on 43rd & Grant Street.  One person was shot and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.  Just 2 minutes before that, at 12:08 a.m., police found someone shot at 42nd & Paxton.  That person has critical injuries.

Then, at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a triple shooting near 53rd & Hartman.   47-year-old Kim Prince, died at the hospital. 19-year-old Devante Mitchell and 18-year-old Kenyon Muhammad were hit but are expected to survive.

At 6:30 a.m. Sunday, someone shot and killed 29-year-old Damion Davis.  Police found him outside a vacant home on 30th & Laurel.

Between 2:00-3:00 a.m. Sunday, a man tells police he was shot at 29th & Seward.  He is expected to recover.

Saturday afternoon, a gunfight in the front yard of a home at 36th & Martin ended with one person shot and several teens running from police.  The injured person is in critical condition.

And Saturday morning, around 3:00 a.m., another shooting near 42nd & Lafayette.
